Kafé Spesial
Kafé Spesial is located at Vektertorget on Nygårshøyden, this is a favorite for lunch and dinner among students. Italian inspired kitchen with mainly pasta, pizza and sandwiches. Price for a main course: NOK 80 - 150.

Stjernesalen Kafé (Det Akademiske Kvarter)
Stjernesalen Kafé is a student run café serves high quality food to a very student friendly price. Sandwiches, focaccia and salads for lunch, and a varied dinner menu including lasagna, lamb kebab, hamburger, tikka masala and salmon. Price for a main course: NOK 89-104.

Zupperia restaurant
Zupperia is a popular place to eat. Asian and international cuisine, with soup as the main attraction (hence the name Zupperia).

Trekroneren
Legendary Bergen hot dogs! This hot dog stand has been going strong for over 75 years, and here you can choose from many different types of hot dogs. Perfect late-night snack or quick lunch on the go.

Long, thin pizza on a sourdough base – topped with Norwegian favourite ingredients. Student-friendly prices, and every 6th pizza in the app is free.

Pingvinen
The pub Pingvinen is a good choice if you want to eat traditional Norwegian food as meatballs, stew and fish gratin, but also sandwiches, soups and salads. Price for a main course: NOK 169 - 259.

Asian Street Food
For those who love authentic Thai street food. Here you can enjoy authentic flavours, and right next door you will find Asian Food Market – perfect if you want to try your hand at being an Asian master chef at home.

Numero Uno Pizza
Affordable and delicious pizza in the same building as BI. Here you will also find pinsa (a cross between pizza and focaccia), sandwiches and Italian gelato.

Dirty Vegan
Plant-based junk food that will make even meat lovers smile. Burgers, snacks and ‘dirty fries’ in a unique pink restaurant. Eat in or take away.

Located in a charming old wooden house, serving healthy, fresh meals every day – from hot soups to colourful bowls. Perfect for a nutritious lunch or dinner.

Simple, good Chinese food in the middle of Marken – perfect for a quick and affordable dinner or takeaway.

Ranchi Ramen & Rice
Ramen, rice dishes, curry and tempting desserts. Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 3 p.m., they offer a lunch menu for only NOK 159.

Pota Madre
Pota Madre is a popular baked potato food truck that started in Eidfjord and has now made its way to Bergen! Here, you’ll get generous portions of baked potatoes topped with a wide variety of delicious toppings. The name “Pota” is a playful twist on the word for potato in the Eidfjord dialect – and also a cheeky slang term in Spanish.

Would you like some food on the go? Cactus at Galleriet promises tacos served in under two minutes! Choose from burritos, bowls, tacos, or salads – all made with fresh ingredients and perfect for busy students.

Søstrene Hagelin
