Utdanning i Bergen (Study Bergen) collects personal information for the following reasons:

Web analytics

We collect unidentifiable information about visitors at utdanningibergen.no to generate statistics so that we can create a user-friendly site. We cannot track personal information back to the individual user. All data will be anonymized and merged, and will not be processed individually.

We use Silktide Analytics to understand how the website is used. This tool has been developed with privacy in mind and does not use cookies or other tracking methods that store information on your device. Instead, visits are counted using temporary, anonymous session IDs. These are automatically deleted after 24–48 hours. No personal data is stored, and we are therefore unable to identify individuals.

We also use the statistics tool Google Analytics. This tool uses cookies to analyse how our users use our websites. The data generated by the cookie, including an anonymised version of your IP address, is sent to Google and stored on servers in the United States. The information received is subject to Google's privacy policy. Information about traffic on our websites is stored in Google Analytics for 14 months. Newsletter

Anyone who wishes can sign up to receive our newsletter. In order for us to be able to send you the newsletter, you must register your email address with us. Apility is the provider of the newsletter service. The address lists are owned by StudyBergen, and are not shared with others. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, click the “Unsubscribe” link in the actual newsletter or by contacting Study Bergen on hei@utdanningibergen.no

 

Your rights

You have the right to receive information about which personal information we process and how we treat it. You can, at any time, request access to the information Utdanning i Bergen (Study Bergen) stores about you.
 

Correction and deletion

Utdanning i Bergen (Study Bergen) deletes personal data when it is no longer necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was obtained. This means that as long as you use any of our services, we store the necessary information about you.
 

Right to data portability

The data subject has the right to obtain copies of the personal data they have provided to Utdanning i Bergen (Study Bergen), the administrators of this website, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
