Kristiania is an independent foundation whose purpose is to provide education and conduct research. All economic profit is used to strengthen the school's education programs and learning environment.

Kristiania is located in Oslo and Bergen. The school is relatively small, both in size and number of students. The small classes emphasizes the school’s teaching philosophy which focuses on close interaction between the students, lecturers and the industry.
