Enjoy Norwegian Nature 

This trip takes you on a scenic Fjord Cruise straight from Bergen City Centre into the heart of Modalen. We’ll make a stop in Mo, a charming, picture-perfect village complete with waterfalls and a sandy beach. We promise a very Instagram-friendly trip!

• Take the Plunge: Feel free to bring swimwear if you want to brave a refreshing, authentic Nordic dip in the fjord!
• Meet & Mingle: This trip is a low-pressure way to make new friends, swap Bergen survival tips, and connect across different study programs.

Program

*Times are approximate and subject to weather conditions. The captain will announce the exact boarding time before we step off the boat in Modalen. Please be mindful of the time – public transport back from Modalen is limited, and missing the boat means a trip home at your own expense!

Food and drink

• You can buy light snacks, coffee, and cold drinks at the kiosk on board, or feel free to pack your own lunchbox (matpakke).
• Alcohol Policy: Bringing or consuming your own alcoholic beverages on board is strictly prohibited. However, a selection of alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the boat's kiosk/bar for those who wish to enjoy a drink during the cruise.

What to wear/bring

Norwegian autumn weather can change in a flash! We highly recommend bringing:

• A windproof/waterproof jacket
• Warm layers (a sweater and beanie) so you can comfortably enjoy the views from the outdoor deck
• Swimwear and a towel (if you're brave enough for that iconic fjord dip!)
